Scholes puts Man Utd back on top with winner at Wolves (Reuters via Yahoo! Sports)

LONDON, March 6 (Reuters) – Manchester United returned to
the top of the Premier League on Saturday, climbing two points
above Chelsea thanks to a late Paul Scholes winner in a 1-0
victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

United, without the injured Wayne Rooney, were frustrated by
the hosts but eventually broke their resistance after 73 minutes
when Nani’s low cross fell to the former England midfielder who
made no mistake with his 100th Premier League goal.

The champions have 63 points from 29 matches, two more than
Chelsea who are in FA Cup quarter-final action on Sunday.

Third-placed Arsenal are level with Chelsea on 61 points
thanks to a 3-1 victory at home to Burnley.
