the reason the world is not ready to see guns on tv is becaus the people who dont no ANYTHING think gus are dangerous witch they are im a hunter so i know all about them you see it not the guns tat are dangerous it the man/woman holding it..i personally think that people should be tought how a gun work and how to shoot then at a yong age so they no how dangerous they can be in the wong hands

@smackheadmetal That’s because fencing is on of the oldest sports in the world and was probably very popular amongst people who could watch fencing. Paintball’s been around for +20 years abd isn’t very popular or recognized as a serious sport and more of a hobby than anything else to alot of people (and that’s just America). But the paintball community continues growing so maybe one day it’ll be recognized.

I think if there is an official league and tournaments, not just annual competitions, it’s considered a sport.

the reason why its not in the oympics is because paintball is illegal is some countrys.

  16. outreachpaintballon 24 Apr 2010 at 4:23 pm

paintball is screwed as a sport from the beggining. why, because its not idiot proof, sports get big because big corperations back it like k2 ect ect, but big corperations dont give a shit about quality in sports its about pumping out units to the masses. they cant pump out $2000 luxes into the hands of randoms in walmart but they can pump out 100$ pos trillogys, if we want our sport to grow thats what we need, but we take a step back because you cant sell quality machining for cheap :(

  17. outreachpaintballon 24 Apr 2010 at 4:23 pm

because its a gentelmans sport and its been around for a lonnnngggggggggggg time and is associated in a war like way but very much the opposite, paintball may reach a similar point one day but it would be way in the future when wars are no longer settled with guns

  22. tux117on 24 Apr 2010 at 4:23 pm

paintball is actually the worlds most safest extreme sport in the world

  23. smackheadmetalon 24 Apr 2010 at 4:23 pm

Fencing is in the olympics, so why not paintball.

  24. smackheadmetalon 24 Apr 2010 at 4:23 pm

@biddycy as much as we try to disassociate them with firearms, technically they are, although they are not traditional firearms like guns. unfortunatley, they are legally considered a type of less-lethal (NOT NON-LETHAL) firearm in my state.

  25. biddycyon 24 Apr 2010 at 4:23 pm

    some people do.
